The KS 25-3LM three-phase diesel power station of the HEAVY DUTY series of the German brand “Könner & Söhnen” is a reliable generator set with a maximum capacity of 25.3 kVA. 

The KS 25-3LM diesel generator based on a liquid-cooled Laidong four-cylinder engine is a cost-effective solution from Könner & Söhnen. It conforms to all European quality standards, offers outstanding safety and is thus suitable for private and commercial use. In addition, the KS 25-3LM diesel generator is equipped with a four-pole brushless AC alternator with an automatic voltage regulator, a preheater for use in the cold season, a 57 l fuel tank offering a 14-hour autonomous operation without refueling (fuel consumption is 4.1 liters per hour at an average 50% load), connection for an automatic start/stop system, and an all-weather anti-vandal soundproof housing. 

The KS 25-3LM diesel generator is a high-performance unit featuring a controller for all basic operating parameters and can supply both three-phase and single-phase consumers. LOW-SPEED RELIABLE LAIDONG ENGINE

Laidong's low-speed engine runs at 1,500 rpm, which reduces fuel consumption, lowers sound pressure, and promotes longer service life through lower rpm. A mechanical engine speed control unit adjusts the engine speed and controls the quality of the electrical power produced by the generator.

WATER COOLING

The water-cooled engine system ensures reliable operation of the unit and prevents premature engine failure. The efficient cooling of the engine allows this generator set to be exposed to high ambient temperatures.

PREHEATER

The engine preheater facilitates the start-up of the power station with no load on the engine, even in sub-zero temperatures during the cold season. The system automatically pre-heats the engine's water jacket to the required temperature and maintains the engine temperature to facilitate the engine start-up in any weather.

DIGITAL CONTROLLER

All operations are controlled via a modern multifunctional digital controller. The controller provides monitoring of all operating indicators of the power station, convenient start-up and operation settings, monitoring of the battery status, engine speed and fuel supply adjusted to the load, and protection against overheating and low oil level. It also signals possible faults and reports the need for service maintenance.

SOUNDPROOF ANTI-VANDAL HOUSING

The top-notch soundproof housing provides significant noise reduction during unit operation, improves the thermal distribution and protects the power station against ingress of moisture and condensation, exposure to adverse weather conditions and tampering. The relatively compact size of the power station provides more space for its placement. Anti-corrosion powder coating contributes to a longer service life of the unit. 

In addition, the low-noise low-speed engines mounted on anti-vibration pads contribute to quieter operation and reduce the load on the base. 

The power station has an emergency stop button for quick engine shutdown in an emergency.

EASY MAINTENANCE

The housing has openings for transportation aids, facilitating shipment, transportation, and installation of the unit.  Wide hinged doors on both sides of the housing provide unobstructed access to the unit parts for easy servicing of the main components of the diesel generator.

COMMISSIONING IN EUROPE

For failure-free operation in Europe, Könner & Söhnen diesel power stations undergo pre-run servicing and a test run with monitoring of all operating parameters at our in-house service center. A special loading bench is used to check the power output of the power station in different operating conditions and to fine-tune the electronics control unit.
