Könner & Söhnen® electric vehicle charging stations provide a reliable and safe charging of electric cars and are a must-have for every electric vehicle owner! Although the charger that comes with the electric vehicle has a built-in controller, it does not have built-in protection and is not designed for constant use and high-power charging. It is merely a portable solution in case you go somewhere where there is nothing but a regular outlet, and the car needs to be charged.
The EV charging station is installed permanently and is not plugged directly into a power socket. It is connected by cable in the distribution box of the house through a separate circuit breaker, thus eliminating the major problem - burning outlet contacts and associated fires and the like. In addition, Könner & Söhnen® charging stations have multi-level protection against overloading, current leakage, voltage drop, overheating, and adverse weather conditions, as well as enable monitoring of all relevant indicators and possible malfunctions.
- UNIVERSAL CHARGING CONNECTOR
Könner & Söhnen® EV charging stations are equipped with the DIN EN 62196-2 Type 2 connectors, which is the most common connection for European electric vehicles. They come complete with a long 5-meter charging cable that allows for a variety of parking options.
